Privacy Policy

Prior to your first appointment, you will be required to complete a confidential health history form online. This form serves to inform me- the therapist as to what is best suited for your session. This form must be updated once a year or any time there are significant changes to your health history (ex. surgery, major illness). The information in your file can only be released with your consent or as required by law per privacy policy standards. In order to best serve you, I may ask to discuss your case with your other healthcare providers.


Cancellation Policy

Life happens.
However, as a sole practitioner, 100% of my income comes from my valued clients (that’s you!). When you cancel on short notice, my livelihood is jeopardized. You are also taking an appointment slot away from someone else who could benefit from my care.
Cancelations policy:

At 48 hours and after your appointment day/time results in a 50% charge, unless you can find someone to fill the slot OR I can get the time slot filled. At/after 24 hours results in full charge of the session to the card on file.
Thank you for being understanding of my time and time potentially available to other clients.

Gotta cancel? Donate your appointment time to a friend! It’s win-win: They get a fabulous massage while you get off the hook.
Future appointments cannot be scheduled until any outstanding invoice is paid. Thank you for valuing my time.


Appointment Times

Appointment times are as scheduled!

Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment time. At your first appointment, I conduct a thorough intake interview where I cover your health history and your reasons for seeking massage therapy. Please be sure that you fill out your intake form no less than 24 hours prior to your first session! This allows for a chance to have your full hands-on time after discussing the goals for that day/future sessions. Appointment times are as scheduled. Only a small portion of time is scheduled in-between other clients. Session times will not exceed their scheduled length unless I am running late, and all clients have been informed. I provide a detailed description of my treatment plan so there are never any surprises during your massage and obtain verbal consent before starting that session.

Both you & I have to right to cancel during a session for any reason. All cancelation policies apply. See refusal of service for more details.


Refusal of Service

For safety purposes, I reserve the right to refuse or discontinue treatment at any time. Reasons may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • intoxication
  • derogatory or bigoted comments
  • romantic advances
  • illness or infectious conditions
  • contagious or unidentified skin conditions (ex. rashes, warts, mysterious bug bites)

If you are sick, please reschedule your appointment. If you develop a skin condition, please clear it with your doctor before receiving massage. Thank you for keeping my practice safe. Cancelation policy still applies.

Message frequency varies, and additional mobile messages may be sent periodically based on your interaction with Brittney Mills. Restoration Therapeutic Massage reserves the right to alter the frequency of messages sent at any time to increase or decrease the total number of sent messages. Restoration Therapeutic Massage also reserves the right to change the short code or phone number where messages are sent.

Cancellation

You can cancel any time by texting “STOP”. After you send the SMS message “STOP”, we will send you a message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed and no more messages will be sent. If you would like to receive messages from Restoration Therapeutic Massage again, just sign up as you did the first time and Restoration Therapeutic Massage will start sending messages to you again.

Transfer of Number

You agree that before changing your mobile number or transferring your mobile number to another individual, you will either reply “STOP” from the original number or notify us of your old number at brittney@rtmocala.com. The duty to inform us based on the above events is a condition of using this service to receive messages.
